2026 Graduation

Senior Admiral Families,

The year will be huge for our families and I want everyone to stay informed as important dates are planned and requirements are set. It’s my goal that every student is able to participate and enjoy all of the activities as they wish, however there will be a few steps that must be completed before that can happen. I have a list of important components below:

Student Credit Checklist - Students have completed these in their advisory classes, but I encourage you to double check with your senior to ensure that all credits will be earned before Graduation.

Prom 2026 - Prom has been set for April 25th, 2026 at the Showroom. There’s a list of requirements (listed on the Google Classroom) before purchasing prom tickets, namely pay all outstanding fees, no more than 3 days of ISS or suspension, and must attend school on Friday before prom.

Caps and Gowns (and other options)  - Students must order their cap and gown before Spring Break. The link to Jostens can be found on the DHS Website → Students → 2025 Graduation.

Senior Pictures - Senior pictures must be submitted to katina.chilton@danville.kyschools.us before Spring Break. If pictures are not submitted, we will use the school picture that was taken last fall.

Graduation Date - Graduation has been set for May 22nd at the Norton Centre at Centre College at 7 PM. Each student will receive 10 tickets to Graduation.

Baccalaureate - The student run Baccalaureate ceremony has been scheduled for Sunday, May 17th at 7 PM. Senior students will lead this event.

Senior Trip - Students have expressed interest in taking a senior trip in May. Details about time, cost and fundraising are in the works.

Project Graduation - Project Graduation is put on by the senior parents, working through the DISD PTO. Parent volunteers will be needed to make this night a success. Contacts for this event are: __________________________.

Baby Pics - Students can submit baby pics for the Senior Slideshow to the form on Google Classroom in the spring.

Please remind students to keep up with their Senior Class Google Classroom for tons of information about scholarships, opportunities and important deadlines. If you’re wondering about a timeline, ask them to check their Google Classroom!
