Spanish Club

Sponsor: Ms. McCowan

Spanish Club meets once a week in Ms. McCowan's room.

The Spanish Club is geared towards students who would like opportunities to speak Spanish outside the classroom as well as learn more about the various Hispanic cultures.  The purpose of the club is to promote further interest and an appreciation of the Spanish Speaking countries, their language, and their customs. It also provides an opportunity for students with a common interest in the Spanish speaking world to have fun as a group.  The club meets at least once or twice a month to learn more about the Spanish speaking people and use Spanish.  Students in all levels of Spanish are welcome to join.

Possible activities include the following: cooking and sampling foods of Latin America and Spain, viewing films, dancing, fundraising, corresponding with pen pals, taking mini-excursions, playing games, and most importantly, having fun!

Member Fees: $5 (fee applies towards the purchase of Spanish Club t-shirt)
